CIL recognised in Management Today’s Top 100 Management Consultancies
CIL has been recognised as one of the top management consultancies by leading business publication, Management Today. The prestigious list has been compiled with help from expert judges Jim Foster, director of the Centre for Management Consulting Excellence, and Steve Watmough, co-founder and chair at Mason Advisory and former vice chair of the MCA.
CIL is recognised for its strategic advice, including financial and M&A, data analytics support and strategy consulting across a wide range of sectors, from financial services to manufacturing and technology. Founded in 1986, the firm specialises in strategy consulting, assessing and building business plans, identifying market opportunities and due diligence, and has expanded into markets such as the US, France and Germany. It has seen revenues grow year on year and now employs over 200 people worldwide.
Commenting on CIL’s achievement, Jon Whiteman, Managing Partner at CIL, said: “We are proud to be named as one of the top management consultancies and recognised for the high-quality strategic advice our consultants provide clients across many different sectors. A huge well done to the team for their dedication and thank you to our clients for their continued trust in our work. We are looking forward to continuing our global growth. ”
Top 100 Management Consultancies Methodology
Management Today’s Top 100 Management Consultancies is exclusively focused on firms that engage primarily in management consulting, or where the management consulting function is sufficiently sizeable to constitute a major operation in its own right. In addition to scale and remit, profitability/potential profitability over time and reputation were considered, as well as the expert opinion of our judges.
Management consulting, for this purpose, is defined as the provision of strategic or operational advice to businesses, aimed at transforming their profitability, changing their business model, achieving greater efficiency, reorganising their structures and systems or facilitating their entry into new markets. It may include elements of data and market analysis. It does not include the design and implementation of software, brand consultancy, service design or product design, though these services may also be offered to clients by the listed firms.
