CIL announces two Partner promotions

CIL is thrilled to announce two Partner promotions, Anthony Crutchett and Luke Rowell who are based in London, as it continues to enjoy growth across its key sector practices and service areas.

Anthony Crutchett has been promoted from Director to Partner.  He is a key member of CIL’s Technology practice and has been with the business since 2012 where he has worked across IT services (IT managed services, telecom services and DX consulting) and software. He has a particular focus on enterprise software and construction technology, the latter sub-sector including work with Causeway, Intact, IES and Eque2.  He has also been instrumental in building CIL’s internal learning and development curriculum and operations.

Luke Rowell has also been promoted from Director to Partner.  He has been at CIL since 2013 and has established himself as a key player in the Media practice.  Luke covers a range of end-markets, including business information and data, media technology and services, and marketing services. He has deep expertise across the marketing services and technology ecosystem, working with both investors and corporates on a mix of transactions and strategic engagements working with businesses such as Brainlabs, Unlimited, Croud, Factor11, Venatus and LoopMe.  He has also been responsible for scaling and professionalising CIL’s internal business development function.

Commenting on the promotions, Jon Whiteman, Managing Partner at CIL, said: “The two senior promotions announced today are highly deserved. Commenting on his promotion, Anthony Crutchett, Partner at CIL, said: “I am excited to join the senior team at CIL and help lead the growth of the technology practice.  My focus is to continue to grow our European Technology practice, with particular emphasis on building our profile and areas of excellence in the UK, and increasing our coverage and experience across France, Germany, Benelux and The Nordics. I will also support the team in continuing to deliver both commercial due diligence and value creation to our clients regardless of their phase in the investment cycle.”

Luke Rowell, Partner at CIL said: “It is an exciting period of growth at CIL and, as a Partner, my focus will be on continuing to provide support to our European corporate and investor clients, while deepening our US relationships. Furthermore, I’m keen to continue to build our value creation practice, offering go to market and growth strategy advice to media businesses globally.”
